Things I Have Learned!

Posted by danomano65 Jul. 6, 2009 @ 2:33 PM EDT

lets start off really complex!

anyone who actually understands quantum mechanics should be shocked.

electrons are only able to be measured because you are measuring them. once u look away they are spread in several places at once. this is what physicists call the measurement problem and it is both terrifying and enlightening! we are simply witnessing the state of reality that we wish to acknowledge!

our opinions are derived from the circumstances we were brought up in and experience day to day. the people we meet and will meet.

i mean, everything that has happened to you led you to where u are sitting right now.

thus, the things that you do right now will lead you to where you are meant to be in a month.

if you tune into this connection among the people of the world, and believe that your life will be successful, the reality you wish to live will manifest itself.

because you realize that time is not real. and that we, in this reality are a mirror of the electron formations we are composed of.

once you learn to let go of that which is so easily perceived, and begin to use your mind to see what you wish to perceive, you understand that your imagination is far more powerful than any muscle on you body.

a code of every possibility for our reality flows throughout everything in existence. and each person and past generation are just another combination.

it gives you a sense of purpose when you live like that.

the people that mean so much to you.. you mean so much to them as well. we are all integral parts of each others' souls. this connection is what people all around the world desire at their inner core. love is the answer to all battles.

i find that people do not know who they are until they accept the fact that they know nothing.

they only understand more everyday.

if our society today was able to slow down for a moment to understand that the rat race involves nothing more than running on a wheel in a cage to pay the bills, we could let go of our materials. we could let go of the internet and begin to keep in touch on a more personal level. we could look beyond all of this dust we have collected and molded into streets and cities.

thus i find joy in meeting new people. making new connections. introducing the people i love to new people that they become in tune with, and so forth. life is about being a spiritually healthy human by conversing regularly with people that we know and trust. by avoiding gossip and learning from mistakes.

yet in the end there are no mistakes, only choices and consequences. we are all capable of free will because there is no future destiny that has to be fulfilled, only the present which we should strive to correct and preserve.

the last century of people have carelessly abused convenient fuels and technologies to manipulate the reality of our world. greed and money have seduced the MTV culture, which idolizes irresponsible selfishness. even intimacy has been tarnished with STDs. Why do we continue to repeat history? Willingly! Why do we keep getting the same jobs to get the same money to do the same things? It's boring! And honestly, insane! By definition, doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results is insane. That only brings about the thought that no one wants a different result. That everyone is okay with the lack of progress in our world. With our primary senses jam packed with entertainment, what more could we need, right?

i feel uniquely ashamed and fortunate to be a human being.

im not saying you can't enjoy the world as you humanly perceive it. there are some amazing things to be seen. its just funny thinking about how matter is 90 percent empty space. making our world an endless web of connections through frequencies and receptors. i mean, without us, what would the world be like? how would the world function without a consciousness to perceive it if an electron is in one place only when it is studied.

ask questions.

i am grateful for the people i have met and know. i am also grateful for the opportunity to understand more about my human experience so early in my life. i want to help. i want to listen. and i want to give.

its time to love, everyone.

The People Have Spoken

Jul. 6, 2009 | 2:39 PM FrozenFire says:

I've always thought that mundane actions like staying up an extra 3 minutes before sleeping don't affect your life the day after.
If you wake up to a timed alarm, you should act like you normally act unless those few minutes seriously left you sleep deprived and groggier than ever.

These philosophical conversations can be interesting to a point so I usually enjoy them. Thanks :)

Jul. 6, 2009 | 2:40 PM danomano65 responds:

i am just glad you are asking questions.

yes tits are good.

I feel pretty much the same way... though I'm not going to fuck up my forks :P

hahhaha

Jul. 6, 2009 | 3:03 PM super-sense says:

You bent a fork...

OMG!!!

Jul. 6, 2009 | 6:34 PM danomano65 responds:

cynicism and arrogance are not welcome here.

Jul. 6, 2009 | 3:07 PM Thdrams says:

Did you actually write that whole thing or did you copy/paste it. It actually looks most like you copied it and than did a word search and changed some words, and possibly that you went through it and made everything lowercase (but it was probably like that anyway) and if you didn't do all of that, then amends to you and congrats on the good thinking and the fork-bending.

Jul. 6, 2009 | 6:31 PM danomano65 responds:

no i wrote all of this from experience.

Jul. 6, 2009 | 3:10 PM MindChamber says:

you should do shows!

Jul. 6, 2009 | 6:34 PM danomano65 responds:

i should try that

Jul. 6, 2009 | 3:20 PM FATSHARK says:

So realising you have the power to bend forks into zany positions willhelp you animate flash with a more original edge?

Jul. 6, 2009 | 6:32 PM danomano65 responds:

the fork is a metaphor. once you realize you can do anything why would u do something someone else has already done?? it's supposed to be an inspiration, not a means to an end.

Jul. 6, 2009 | 3:26 PM SamIam says:

Wow, I'm amazed that I understood all of this. I guess I have to thank the philosophy class I took. Anyways It's weird and scary how all types of media and the average person over the years has twisted the perception of people in thinking one way and/or immoral for the sake of pleasure.
If more people learned to perceive things differently instead of how the media and the average person perceives them. We wouldn't have trends, More options in everyday life will open up, and the world would be a lot better off.
Now off to destroy some silverware!

how could you fall asleep when you are already in a dream??

Jul. 6, 2009 | 5:43 PM Calvinus says:

nice thinking only problem is that were just humans nothing greater, bound to our bodies (while this is wrong there is nothing bound to our bodies we are our bodies) but fact is that this gives us the will to live. from wich all other things come when we rly could accept the things you wrote we wouldnt be anymore humans and life wouldnt mater as same as time but we simply cant atleast not fully. time is relativ so why bother it wouldnt make a diference if you die today or tommorrow and so nothing would matter (i dont live after this cause im human and this is wrong if your religious) SO I THINK THERE IS YOUR MISTAKE WERE ALL (JUST) HUMANS

Jul. 6, 2009 | 6:33 PM danomano65 responds:

are are not humans on a spiritual experience. we are spiritual beings on a human experience. you are too attached to your senses.

Jul. 6, 2009 | 6:48 PM Starogre says:

yeah time doesn't exist

but.....

there are many many different ways to use the word 'exists'

Jul. 6, 2009 | 7:29 PM Soldorado says:

How in abstractness's name do you de-attach yourself from your senses?! I think it's true everything you say, but it is too much for everyone to understand... I think we need to evolve a lil more so that more people can bend forks consequently having to eat with bare hands...

Jul. 6, 2009 | 9:18 PM myersman says:

that's deep have you ever heard this thing called "the secret" its kinda the same concept of a positive thinking and the balance of the universe, its cool to think about but sometimes it hurts my head (not trying to sound stupid, sorry if i am)

Jul. 6, 2009 | 9:51 PM danomano65 responds:

yeah i thought that was bullshit, but now i'm starting to think its real. and its not even a new thing. that sort of mentality has been around forever. what do you think karma is?

Jul. 6, 2009 | 10:19 PM SeethingSwarm says:

JibberJabber:
I think the Internet is connecting us all with EVERYONE indirectly, but at the same time disconnecting us directly/physically from each other. In a spiritual sense, the internet brings us all together without having to stare into one anothers physiucal appearance and be influenced by everybody's charismatic/manipulative physical expressions. One could argue that this virtual world is a much better playground to grow spiritually without the disturbance of material sources than anywhere else...

But like our wise elder Madonna said, we are material beings living in a material world... we need to be literally close to others in order to function "correctly", and people have been carelessly abusing convenient fuels and technologies to manipulate the reality of our world since the dawn of humanity. And doing things over and over again is just a part of what we are. Everything we do sprouts from the repetitive act of copulation, and our imagination can only go as far as to combine things like legos from personal experiences we have gathered througvhout our existence.

So meeting new people on a personal level is great and we should all do that as much as we can, we should also strive to bend forks with our minds like the master danomano65 so enlightingly demonstrates because as one very cool consumer product called BioShock states, "We all make choices in life, but in the end our choices make us."

So what's my point? I don't really have one :) All I can leave you with is something to ponder about: What is so different about the world now than a million years ago? Everything needs to recycle and get rid of excrement, and the world is just about done digesting its food and getting ready to take a long nice dump... or is it one of those ghost turds?

Jul. 6, 2009 | 11:16 PM Eammy says:

What proof do you have that time is not real?! I see a clock, and I see it ticking by, every second. How can you say that's not real?

I remember I read a lot about that shit last Summer and it fucked with my head.

Jul. 7, 2009 | 12:55 AM Duchednier says:

Have you ever seen "What the bleep do we know?" Its a really good movie all about quantum mechanics, but it seems you've already learned most of what it's covered ;)

Its a good movie regardless, you should check it out

Jul. 7, 2009 | 12:56 AM Snappler says:

ohhhh i love this stuff. think about it all the time.

"i am also grateful for the opportunity to understand more about my human experience so early in my life. i want to help. i want to listen. and i want to give."
i absolutely feel the same way.

i dont completely agree with some of your conclusions (i dont believe in a soul for one, and i have a very hard time taking in all this great realization and lack of a greater goal, and feeling like it gives me a purpose. it feels quite the opposite for me actually. :( )

and stuff like 'love is the answer' seems to me to be, well, unrealistic and utopian. to me, the conclusion to take away from all this about humanity is that, since theres no purpose, and its all just infinite possibilities and events, doing things the 'wrong' way and 'imperfectly', both as defined in human terms, are always unavoidable. all that mantra really does is act as if people wont keep acting the same just because you understand the true nature of them and their actions.

"if you tune into this connection among the people of the world, and believe that your life will be successful, the reality you wish to live will manifest itself."
ever seen 'The Secret'? its a fairly recent movie. thats basically its message. i saw the first twenty minutes, and i just dont buy it. i think this perspective gives wayyy too much credit to the human mind in the grand scheme of things. sure, we're all made of electrons, aka nearly empty space, but do you think that somehow means that all that space will bend to our will? sure, we have a large part of control in the progression of our lives, and positive thinking does wonders. but really now? the world works in its own ways around each of us, and sadly enough our place in it is limited. sometimes nature cannot be reckoned with. but i appreciate the optimism, anything that can give you that much positivity and purpose is a good way of viewing things. because the world doesnt change according to your understanding of it, only you do.

hope i didnt yuck your yum too much. its been a pleasure. :)

Jul. 7, 2009 | 2:54 AM NightBreaker says:

Reading some of the comments above, I believe that there are some truly ignorant, shallow people, not just here, but everywhere in the world, and that some of the previous comments prove thus.
I agree with everything you stated above, and for me, everything came down to perception and understanding.
You mentioned something similar to 'what would the world be like if we weren't here?', and I've always had a similar question.
Everybody knows the 'if a tree fell in a forest, would it make a sound' kind-of philosophical question, and mine is just adapted from that.

If there was a UNIVERSE without any living creatures in it, no form of life, would the universe exist?
What would it exist for?

And there's people saying 'how can you disprove time?'
My personal explanation to that is comparing time with a mile.
Humans look across the land and say 'the land stretches for a mile that way, therefore, a mile exists'.
but a mile is nothing more than a measurement Man kind created to measure distance.
This is exactly what time is.
Time is what Mankind created to measure aging and decay. it is nothing more, nothing less.

I think the people that watch your video and just go 'oh, whoop-di-doo, you bent a fork, how is that supposed to improve animation' don't quite get it.

There is no fork.

Jul. 7, 2009 | 5:28 PM danomano65 responds:

im very glad to hear someone has a similar perspective on life as me! we aren't alone. there are many people around the world waking up.

i've come to the conclusion that past and future are merely abstract thoughts. there is only now. if you were to place a red dot on a line and mark it YOU ARE HERE, like a mall map, except for time, one realizes that nothing else matters except the NOW. because the past may teach us things, but the majority of people in the world are so wrapped up in it, they can't even live their lives because of memories and insecurities.

It's time that people concentrate on feeding their mind, instead of their body.

Jul. 7, 2009 | 2:54 AM NightBreaker says:

also tits.

Jul. 7, 2009 | 5:28 PM danomano65 responds:

tits are wonderful. indeed.

Jul. 7, 2009 | 5:36 AM Olimar011 says:

If this were true, I wanted you to post this video and go on about stuff.

Also... it's not that hard to bend a fork.

I do however, agree that time isn't real (on the basis that time is a human perception and never actually existed until we created it's definition.)

Jul. 7, 2009 | 5:43 AM Olimar011 says:

Also, you say "let's get original people!" yet you use the whole fork metaphor.

You say you didn't try but it is clearly shown you put effort in by the way you move your fingers afterwards.

Stop kidding yourself.

Jul. 7, 2009 | 5:31 PM danomano65 responds:

why are you so determined to pull down my mindset? what is it that is holding you back from realizing that your own thoughts and opinions aren't even your own, just an accumulation of things and events that you relate and believe are right based on the senses you possess?

if you believe, it will manifest. this is proven right now, since you believe that your human body is limited to the material world, when we are all capable of so much more.

Jul. 7, 2009 | 6:05 AM MrBigBone says:

Didn't read any of that. Was to busy watching some guy handle a fork.

Mmm. Handle lthat fork you dirty man. HANDLE IT!

Jul. 7, 2009 | 8:48 PM danomano65 responds:

not really how it works. duration can not be manipulated.

i just saw your tofu series (awesome) my question is the tofu series based off your enlightenment, or is tofu just one big ol mindfuck :P

Jul. 9, 2009 | 5:28 PM danomano65 responds:

Tofu is a product of the mind set i've reached.
The rest of the series is going to get progressively more complex. only to come to one decision which will be the theme of the series.

i haven't yet begun work on the 4th. but i will soon.

i'm glad you like them!

Jul. 14, 2009 | 12:51 PM 5lip5tr3am3r says:

I still have difficulty believing the measurement problem.

My teacher used to get wound up with me because I thought that scientists were only getting this effect because our instrumentation for observing and measuring was too intrusive, and that it was just a matter of building a better electron microscope... They kept telling me that Bohm had proved that no matter what microscope we designed, we could still not measure the speed and the position both... I couldn't get my head around it at all.

I suppose that once you drill down to that level of existence, you are talking about potentialities rather than hard and fast actualities. That's the way I see it anyhow.

The thing in Quantum Mechanics that really spooks me is the bit about particles and entanglement - two protons being able to communicate faster than light as long as they have previously been in contact. That always blows my mind, and bizarrely I find it much easier to beleive than the "measurement problem".

So, how did you reach this state of belief / understanding ? Is it because of things you have read, or people you have met, or both ?

Your Tofu story rocks by the way. Can't wait for the next instalment !

Jul. 14, 2009 | 1:03 PM 5lip5tr3am3r says:

I forgot to say... you may think I am being pessimistic, but I think things will stay the way they are because the people in power like to maintain the status quo.

You are totally correct to say that it is insane to be fighting over oil. We could easily make car engines which run on ethyl alcohol. Why isn't the road jam packed with these vehicles ? Because the rulers of the planet don't want it that way. Why do we keep on using nuclear power when we could manage with hydroelectric dams and barrages and wind turbines and methane harvesting (where all you need is the sewage that the human race produces every day to fuel your power plant) ?

Because the people who are really in control don't want these things. They like the world in the fucked up state that it is currently. Things are more profitable that way.

Maybe I am just a paranoid with a negative attitude. I guess we'll never know.
