I keep my FLA's on a 4GB flash drive after the FLA for After Judgement destroyed it's self for no apparent reason. I had to decompile the .swf to allow me to finish the movie, it was a big struggle i'll tell ya!

I feel your pain, dude. I lost about 5 of my flash projects and a lot of music and pictures when my laptop crashed and burned. Now I use a desktop and I reformatted my laptop hard drive and got an external hard drive case, so now I back up all my stuff there. I haven't had a problem with it or my computer now, so I'm doing pretty good now. The best advice I can give you is, save it twice. Get an external hard drive or SD card or something and back your stuff up.
