danomano65's News

I have had an amazing week. Monday I posted Halomen, which did awesome. 8th on the best of all time board??? omg. then HALO 3. OH MY GOD AWESOME. Best game ever. Play heroic, don't be a puss. Then Tuesday night I drove to nashville to see Bloc Party. That was a cool show. But what is even cooler is that I drove back to Knoxville, picked my girlfriend and another friend up and we drove to Covington, KY to see Bloc Party there. Which is where I spoke with the lead singer, gave him a high five during the concert and got a sweet tshirt. Awesome. And right now I'm just taking a break after finally getting a checkpoint on this fucking hard part in Halo. I was pinned behind these two weird little barracks and a covenant tank and a buncha brutes were after me. I had to kill the guy with the fuel rod cannon and then use that on the tank. It was EPIC.

Bloc Party Concerts

Thank you everyone. I couldn't have done it without you. ALL of you.
I really worked hard on this one and tried my best. I'll be honest, I had my doubts.
As I uploaded it I seriously hoped that people would enjoy it.
I'm just pleased with the turn out. Last night I was at a mall till 12:01 waiting for my copy of Halo 3.
And I had already been awake for over 24 hours because I attempted to complete Halo 2 the previous night!

Well I got to High Charity and Made it to the final Arbiter chapter. That's pretty good! But guys, Halo 3 is absolutely a treasure. I got chills as a zoomed around and froze my play back video from the campaign. The detail is outrageous. As you struggle to escape from the clutches of your foes, the screen seems to smear and blur while you move the camera around fast. The cinematic feeling is top notch. I feel as if I am inside a movie. Unfortunately I didn't get to play much because I passed out. And I had an 8:00am class today. But I will continue sometime tomorrow after Bloc Party in Nashville.

But anyways, thanks so much for everyone's support. I really appreciate it.

Thank You everyone for watching HALOMEN.

Just finished this piece. I look at it and wonder who or what has just been owned by the MC.

Bigger version right here.

More Halo 3 Anticipation

HALOMEN has been done for a week. HALOMEN2 has a trailer.
Just so everyone knows, the movie will be uploaded on Sept. 24th, at 3:00 PM ET, referencing Halo 3.

Also I just made this drawing on photoshop. Took all freakin night because I rendered the Master Chief, grunt, banshee, and background seperately, and then compiled them. It turned out great. There's a bigger copy of it on my DevArt.

There's also a series of pictures in this thread showing a few steps as I made the picture.

That's all for now!

HALOMEN Update and HALO3 Artwork

I can't wait.

Did this in photoshop just now.

Now that it's all done I can't help but want more. There's so much unexplored in the Halo universe and I know that with the characters Utah has brought to life exploring the possibilities would be hilarious. I've begun brainstorming for a couple more episodes. If anyone is interested in helping with writing and creative input, just PM me. I had nearly 5 co writers this last time, I don't mind.

UPDATE: I have a Halomen2 Trailer prepared for release on the week after the first premiere. I'm really excited about where this story is going. Things are about to get pretty complex.

HALOMEN is done. I just finished. The total running time is 5 minutes and 3 seconds. Now I get to enjoy some Lords of Dogtown on Spike TV. Nice. I've been making touch ups and corrections on the whole production. Finished the credits. Everyone needs to watch them straight, don't miss out on the end jokes. Go see Superbad everyone. It's glorious. Here's my final screenshot. I'll be posting the second poster soon. Later.

PS. Thought that publicity posters are good in threes.

The Final HALOMEN Poster

I had this up in the Art Forum. Decided I'd post it on my news page.

By the way, this cartoon will be my first to have a scene selection. Nifty.

Oh, and the cartoon is now over 4 minutes long.
